DETAILS
The Rigid Heddle Loom is portable and affordable. It’s a great tool for exploring weaving, using up your stash, and trying something new.
Join Sonoma County's professional artist and instructor, Marta Shannon, for a 2 session in person class to learn the basics of setting up your Rigid Heddle loom and how to weave your very own handwoven scarf.
Day one will focus on design, calculations, carefully warping your loom, and finally weaving. You'll then get a week to weave at home, before returning the following Sunday for finishing.
Day two will focus on taking your scarf off your loom and finishing techniques.
NOTE: We have a limited number of looms to rent, so please be sure to select the appropriate option at check out!! If you need to purchase a loom, please call or come in to the shop, or you may purchase online for pick up.
Yarn is NOT included so that students can choose a yarn specific for their project!
