End your knitting sailor days! How often do you find yourself saying, “$#!t” and grumbling about how you messed up again? Well we can’t control that the mistakes get made or how often, however we CAN control how you react to them. Rather than exclaiming a slew of curse words and abandoning ship, this class will have you ready to tackle those pesky dropped stitches and more! We share with you our favorite techniques on how to “rip out”, avoiding utter knitting devastation and help you gain confidence in fixing your knitting mistakes!
Complete 2 swatches in a light colored, heavier weight yarn.
Cast on 20 stitches
Swatch #1: Garter (all knit)
Swatch #2: Stockinette (knit a row, purl a row)
Work each swatch for about 3-4 inches.
DO NOT BIND OFF!
- Crochet hook (similar in size to knitting needle used for swatches)
- Tapestry Needle + waste yarn
Skill Requirements: Proficient at the knit stitch and experience with knitting stripes
Taught by: Alisha Reyes
