A great class for all levels of felters, including beginners!
All materials are included to make one scarf!
Students should bring an old towel and bar of olive oil soap.
Learn the beautiful process of creating decorative fabrics through felting wool onto silk. In this class you'll learn how to make wearable art such as lightweight garments, like scarves and wraps using silk and soft Merino wool.
Patricia will supply all the materials including silk hankies, merino wool, silk fabric, novelty yarn and more for you to experiment and play with, but you are also welcome to bring your own materials as well.
No experience with felting necessary, but also a great class for those who have some done felting before.
Please wear comfy shoes and clothes or an apron you don't mind getting wet! Please bring an old towel and a bar of olive oil soap.
Skill Requirements: None - though it's recommended that you can stand for long periods of time. Chairs will be available for sitting, but you'll be be mainly working in a standing position.
