This is an 8 session, in-person workshop.
8 Wednesdays; October 13 - December 8 (No class on November 24). 4 - 7pm
Open to all levels, including beginners.
Instructor will contact you prior to the first class to discuss materials for your project. Floor, table and rigid heddle looms available for use during class. Please select the appropriate loom you'd like to use for class from the dropdown menu.
In this 8 session class, new weavers will learn to measure a warp, dress the loom, and weave a sampler learning the complete process of setting up the loom from designing to finishing the fabric.
Experienced weavers will design and weave a project to wear or not, using the appropriate fibers and patterns. Consider weaving a simple top, poncho, ruana, vest, throw, jacket, shawl, blanket, etc…your choice… with the guidance of an experienced teacher!
Students may come in during open shop hours to independently work on their project. If students don't finish their project by the last session, membership is available for $20/day or $45/month.
