Private Lessons

NOTE: If you're looking to schedule a knitting or crochet lesson in February, please call the shop to work with our secondary instructor! Our main instructor (schedule for the online calendar) will be out of the country hosting a textile tour.

We offer private lessons for knitting, crochet, spinning and weaving. Please call or come into the shop during open hours to schedule a lesson. 

Lessons for dyeing need to be scheduled separately directly through Alisha (alisha@fibercirclestudio.com) and the rate is higher, depending on the dye and amount of time due to the extensive set up, clean up and use of electricity and water. 

Rates knitting/spinning/weaving/crochet

~ 1 - 4 people: $50 / hour / person 

~ 5+ people: $40 / hour / person 

Recommended Booking Time:

~ Beginning knitting & crochet classes: 1 or 1.5 hour lesson

~ Project help, fixing mistakes, pattern reading: 30 minutes or 1 hour lesson

~ Weaving and spinning classes: 1.5 or 2 hour lesson

Other Important Information:

~ There is a $10 non-refundable deposit required at the time of registration that will be applied to your lesson. Upon completion of the lesson, balances are to be paid directly to the instructor with cash or Venmo only. 

~ An additional $20 day use fee is required for lessons that require the following studio equipment: spinning wheels, weaving looms, dye station, and carding machine. 

~ Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the lesson can be rescheduled with  application of the pre-paid registration deposit. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the lesson forfeit the regristration deposit.
