LET’S EXPLORE WEFT FACED WEAVING OR KROKBRAGD!

In this 6-session class, open to all levels, we will explore weft faced weaving! Beginners are invited to learn a variety of weft faced techniques while weaving a sampler, table runner or small rug to gain a basic understanding of how it works and the many different ways you can use color or texture in weaving weft faced patterns. More experienced students will explore the super colorful Scandinavian weft faced weaving technique called Krokbragd while weaving a sampler or a small project of their choice. Materials not included.

MATERIALS (not included)

Materials not included/project costs will vary. Looms provided. 

Materials will depend on each student's project and pattern choices. Come to the first class with an idea of what you would like to make and some potential materials suitable to your project and we will go from there. Please contact the instructor if you have any questions. martaashannon@gmail.com

Four & eight shaft looms available.

Students may come in during open shop hours to independently work on their project.  If students don't finish their project one week after the last session, membership is available for $20/day or $45/month.
