Intermediate/Advanced - Students should be confident with knit, purl, knitting in the round, and understanding of increasing and decreasing.

MATERIALS (not included)

• 2 skeins of yarn in highly contrasting colors, weight depending on the pattern. Recommended yarns: 
  • FCS Dreamy DK  |  Malabrigo Rios
  • LITLG - Twist Sock
• US 6 (2 and 3 for hat) 16" OR 20" circular needle.
• Pattern: Kodiak Cowl or Harlow Hat

Welcome to Badass Brioche! Why Badass you ask? You get dimension, contrast and squish all in one! Plus, this project takes a comfortable, intermediate knitter into the world of "advanced"! Yee ha!

We'll be making this darling cowl or cozy hat where you'll experience knitting brioche with two colors, in the round!


HOMEWORK
For cowl - cast on 88 sts in your darker color, or preferred edge color.

For hat - cast on number of stitches in your size according to the pattern.

Ages: 18+
Skill Requirements: Proficient knitting skills. Confident in knit, purl, increase, decrease, ribbing, yarn overs and pattern reading.
