MATERIALS (NOT included)

Start going through your closets! Instructor will contact you prior to the first class to discuss materials for your project. Floor looms will be provided for each student. 

DETAILS

Join in an exploration of using upcycled fabrics culled from your closets and linen cupboards to weave functional and beautiful items to either wear, dress your table with or walk on! Weaving with rag strips is a legacy practiced around the world and an important part of our fiber history here in the United States as well.

This 8 session class is open to all levels. Beginners will weave a simple rag runner or placemats while more experienced weavers may explore a project of their choice using pattern or plain weave. Materials not included ( start going through your closets now! ). 

Students may come in during open shop hours to independently work on their project.  If students don't finish their project by one week after the last session, membership with access to equipment is available.
