Intermediate. Confidence with casting on, knit, purl and experience with knitting a basic hat.

MATERIALS - students will receive 10% off when they purchase materials from us! Must mention that you're in the class to staff to receive discount.

• 220 yards of worsted or Aran weight yarn - we recommend &Make Aran
• US 6 + 8 16" circular + US 8 DPN's 
• Handful of Stitch markers
• Cable needle

DETAILS

Learn cables! They look deceivingly difficult and are surprisingly simple! Once you know how to do one cable, you can do them all! Learn how to read a pattern for cables in both written and chart form, and I'll be giving you all my tips and tricks for making it easier! 

HOMEWORK

• Download free pattern: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/tiilda-hat
• Cast on and work through ribbing, set up and round 1 ready to begin cables on round 2. If you do not know how to do a M1L increase, knit through the ribbing and we will show you how to work the increase set up round.

Ages: 14+
Skill Requirements: Confident at knitting, purling, and knitting in the round. You need to be comfortable with making a basic hat. Advanced Beginner.
