DETAILS
A capsule wardrobe is a collection of thoughtfully curated, easily interchangeable staple pieces designed to maximize the number of outfits you can create. The focus is on minimalist, versatile, and timeless garments with an emphasis on quality over quantity.
In this workshop, sewing instructor Deborah will help students design and create a handmade wardrobe that reflects their personal style through fabric selection, color palette, and design choices.
This four-week Capsule Wardrobe Sewing Series is designed for new and experienced sewists who want to build their own self-made wardrobe. Students can choose from four garment options: skirt, pants, boxy top, or shirt (with or without sleeves). Along with learning basic garment construction, students will explore fitting techniques and customization through different design elements.
Most students will be able to complete 3–4 garments by the end of the series, provided some cutting and prep work is completed between sessions.
Ages: 18+
Skill Requirements: Mixed Level - must know how to operate a sewing machine, but no garment making experience necessary.
Taught by: Deborah Wong
