"After my many years of making stained glass and mosaics, I came upon an idea where I could use similar skills and techniques to create equally beautiful works of art that included intricate spaces filled with the bright colors that I so love!" - Selina Truncale, instructor.
In this class, you will create your own 12x12" yarn design on canvas to take home.
The class will explore ideas, techniques, and perfected mistakes learned along the way, including yarn cutting and angles, glue adhering, color placement, and spatial awareness.
This creative, whimsical, and meditative art can be the first of many works of art you create!
MATERIALS (included)
All materials included in the workshop:
- 12 x 12 inch canvas
- Tube of Arleens clear tacky glue
- Various colored skeins of #4 acrylic yarn to share
- Long Tweezers to use during workshop
Please bring the following: 6" sharp pointy nosed scissors, a pencil, and art eraser, a clear ruler (not wooden).
Ages: 18+
Skill Requirements: Beginner, no skills required.
