Please note this is NOT a formal class with lecture about how to make indigo vats, but rather an opportunity to come dye various projects in an already made indigo vat!

We will provide all materials (indigo, projects, shibori supplies)!

Each student will get to choose 3 items - we will have an assortment of items to dye for gift giving, including drawstring bags, large tea towels, wine bags and locally made linen bento bags. Additional items may be purchased to dye during class. 

Due to the nature of the dye session, only items supplied by us can be dyed. We will have other opportunities for you to bring your own items to dye in the future. 

DETAILS

Join us for immersing in the color of BLUE this winter with an indigo dye day!  We'll have an assortment of gift giving and gift wrapping options to dye. Brooke from Sincere Sheep will have indigo vats and shibori supplies ready to go for you to be creative! You can choose to dye solid, or use various resist techniques to create patterns. Brooke will be available to help with instruction on how to create basic shibori designs. 

 Ages: 18+
Skill Requirements: No dyeing experience needed.
