Learn to Knit Socks | October 22 + 29, 2022

This is a 2 session in-person workshop.

DATES/TIMES

2 Saturdays,  October 22 + 29, 2022; 1:00 - 3:30pm

LEVEL

Intermediate/Advanced. Confidence with knitting, purling, working in the round, and basic understanding of increases and decreases.

MATERIALS (not included)

• 400 Yards of Sock Yarn (strongly recommended that the yarn has at least 15% nylon, however ask us about the non-nylon options!)
• US 2 32" circular needle (preferably with a sharper tip)
• Pattern will be supplied in class.
• Recommended: Also bring some thicker yarn (dk or worsted) with appropriate needles size in a long length in case the finer yarn feels too fidgety. Scrap yarn is fine!

DETAILS

 Knitting socks are a super special thing! I invite you to bump your skills up to the next level. We'll be learning magic loop, and using increasing and short rows to shape our toe and heel. Worked from the toe up, you can try on as you go! 

Ages: 18+
Skill Requirements: Intermediate Knitter - confident in knit, purl, working in the round, basic understanding of increases and decreases.
