Making Multi Fiber Warps - for Weavers | May 1 & 8, 2024

Students should have basic experience on either a rigid heddle or shaft loom. 

DETAILS

A hands on designing class for beginning & experienced weavers who would like to use more than one fiber, color or texture in their warps. Students will design a warp, figure the calculations for materials, translate the design from paper to the warping board and learn how to technically handle multiple thread & color changes. You will finish the class with a warp ready to wind on your loom!

MATERIALS

Please bring a notepad, pencil, and ruler to class. In addition, bring a selection of yarns that are different fiber contents, color or textures to play with.

Ages: 18+
Skill Requirements: Basic weaving experience on a rigid heddle or shaft loom.
