Spinning Yarn Level 3 - Plying | June 17, 2023

COST

$65 (bring your own spindle/wheel); $75/85 (with spindle or wheel rental - specify at checkout)

LEVEL

Intermediate - can successfully spin a single ply on either a drop spindle or wheel.

MATERIALS (not included)

• Students need to bring at least 3 balls of hand spun single plies. Yarn should be in either a traditional ball, pull center, or on bobbins for a wheel. 

DETAILS

Know how to spin lots of single plies, but stuck on how to make a multi ply yarn? We'll practice a basic two ply, as well as how to do other plies such as chain plying! 

Ages: 14+
Skill Requirements: Come ready and open to learn - patience is key!
