Retreats & Textile Tours

We believe in fostering connections through craft and community. One of the ways we do this is by offering various opportunities to join us for multi-day retreats and tours.


 1. Creative retreats based in Northern California focused on relaxation and communal crafting, primarily knitting and crochet, however all crafters are welcome.

2. Immersive international textile tours, primarily in Latin American countries. These tours are focused on participating in several workshops and cultural experiences centered around textile traditions.

 

Our mission is heavily rooted in connection with nature, craft, self and community.

These creative retreats based in the beauty of Northern California are a balanced blend of these values woven together to form an experience we hope is rejuvenating, inspiring, and deeply meaningful.

We encourage folks to explore the land, spend time with self, bring a craft project to work on, connect with others in the group, visit the nearby town, soak in the sauna, and indulge in a self care massage. Most time is spent how YOU want to spend it - we are providing the space for you to engage in as much or as little as feels good to you with a combination of solo and slightly structured group time including optional activities and a workshop.

Each retreat has it's own beautiful and unique energy shaped by those who attend.

    Embark on a relaxing retreat to the magical, refreshing coastal forests of Mendocino for 4 days and 3 nights. Bring a project to work on, connect with others, and soak in healing wonders of nature.

    Join us for 4 days and 3 nights of creativity and healing nestled in the foothills of the Sierras, along the Yuba River. Experience weaving, cacao medicine, sound bath and group connection while also supporting individual R&R.

We are fascinated by the various techniques and traditions of textiles, particularly in Latin America. From natural dyeing, to spinning, weaving and knitting, we've put together an assortment of textile tours in an effort to continue sharing the ways of craft before our modern times.

    April 6 - 12, 2025

    Learn and participate in the traditional Andean ways of producing textiles including an alpaca shearing ceremony, backstrap weaving, natural dyeing and spinning. We'll also explore key sights in the Sacred Valley of Cusco.

    Immerse yourself in the history and techniques of icelandic knitting, adventuring on moderate hikes, soaking in geothermal waters,  staying in quaint cottages, and visiting the sheep grazing amoung the countryside!

    Explore the historical areas of Antigua and Lake Atitlán while being immersed in culture, textiles and food. We'll be experiencing natural dyeing, backstrap weaving, embroidery, spinning cotton and pottery while also visiting other iconic sites.

    Oaxaca, Mexico is a place filled with color, texture and flavor! Experience an unbelievable amount of variety in textile production from old to new traditions in the areas of natural dyeing, weaving, spinning, and more! We'll also have opportunities to explore other aspects of this lively city including incredible meals!
