Intermediate - confident with casting on, knit, purl and have knit several basic hats in the round.

MATERIALS - students will receive 10% off when they purchase materials from us! Must mention that you're in the class to staff to receive discount.

• 3 colors of worsted weight yarn (2 high contrasting and 1 pop; approximately 40 grams each)
• US 6 + 7 16" circular + US 7 DPN's
• Handful of stitch markers (1 color for BOR and a handful of the same for repeats)

DETAILS

Learn the basics of 2 color colorwork while making this cute hat! There are some rules and tricks to colorwork for optimal tension and color illusion. This class is designed for people who can knit a hat, and perhaps have experience with stripes or joining in new yarn, but are new to working with more than one color at a time.

HOMEWORK

• Purchase Cathedral Grove Hat Pattern
• Cast on with your "pop" color and work through ribbing, ready to begin colorwork.
