All materials are included. Needle felting foam and tools are for use during the workshop and can be purchased after class directly from the instructor (please bring cash for this).

DETAILS

This brand new needle felted wool painting workshop is as fun and amazing as the project looks! Suitable for the novice felter, we will learn the poke method for transferring an image to wool and lay down fiber with needle felting tools to create a beautiful landscape art piece.

Upon finishing the wool painting, we will mount and frame the art in a wooden embroidery hoop. Not everyone’s outcome will be the same! Learn this easy and satisfying method for making art. 

Skills learned in this workshop include the following. 

• How to work with needle felting tools
• The nature of wool and how dry needle felting works
• Color mixing wool roving
• Applying layers of wool to create illusion and dimension on a flat felt landscape
• Framing your finished piece

Optional: You may purchase the felting pad and needles to take home with you. Please bring cash to purchase from the instructor directly.
