DETAILS

In this 6 session class, students will learn how to design, plan, calculate, warp and weave a simple loom shaped summer top using summer weight yarns such as cottons, linens, tencels, silks or blends of these fibers. No machine sewing necessary. Students should have some prior experience warping and weaving on a shaft loom. 

MATERIALS (not included)

Materials not included/project costs will vary. Looms provided. 

Materials will depend on each student's project and pattern choices. Come to the first class with an idea of what you would like to make and some potential materials suitable to your project and we will go from there. Please contact the instructor if you have any questions. martaashannon@gmail.com

Students may come in during open shop hours to independently work on their project.  If students don't finish their project by the last session, membership is available for $20/day or $45/month.
