Knitting Under the Redwoods ~ REUNION Retreat | September 23 - 26, 2025

NOTE: Before registering, please note that there are THREE lodging options - single, shared (2 person) and shared (4 person). The single option is a queen size bed. The shared options, each person will have their own twin size bed. Be sure you have the correct one selected prior to completing check out. 

Welcome back to another retreat of gathering with others spending hours knitting, crocheting, or crafting of your choice, smelling the fresh air of the ocean breeze, the sound of softly crashing waves in the background, bundled snuggly (perhaps in your handmade sweater) near a fire.

We're inviting all folks who have attended past retreats to enjoy 4 days and 3 nights of relaxation under the Northern California Redwoods!! Escape to the magical, refreshing coastal forests of Mendocino and embark on a relaxing retreat where we'll be working on our creative projects - knitting and crochet focused, but others are definitely welcome! Kick back and soak up the fresh air, cozy up by the campfire, head out for a hike at the beach, and restore in the sauna or with massage. There will be a healthy mixture of lightly structured social and group craft activities along with plenty of opportunities for solo or friend time and visits into the quaint town of Mendocino.

This is an opportunity to breathe slower, bond with likeminded people, crafting new friendships, feel the healing energy offered by nature, pamper ourselves with catered meals and a cozy bed with the outdoors as our white noise. Indulging in whatever our hearts desire is - all day crafting in one place? all day crafting in many places? exploring town? embarking on an adventure? chatting with your friend all day in your tent? This is YOUR time.

What is Included

• 3 nights glamping lodging; 4 days of relaxation, knitting/crocheting/crafting, exploring, social connecting.

• All Meals (home-cooked on site, plus one dinner in town. There will be 1 lunch on your own where we encourage participants to explore the town of Mendocino or Fort Bragg).

• Gathering and building connection with other crafters underneath the magical canopy of the redwoods and sound of the Pacific waves.

• 30 minutes of free knitting help from Alisha (shared group time).

• Exploration of the town of Mendocino, walk along the headlands, and a beach day!

• Surprise creative activity.

• Outdoor yoga with a view of the ocean on Saturday.

Enjoy a private tent with a queen size bed outfitted with cozy linens, and a down comforter. Every high quality, marine canvas tent is situated on a wooden platform with leather butterfly chairs on the deck and a plot with a fire pit and picnic table. Each tent is also equipped with electricity, a small table, storage chest, clothing rack and bathroom linens.

FINER DETAILS

Mendocino Grove specializes in offering a comfortable, and glamorous camping experience; ie: glamping. Expect a high end camping experience, with mainly outdoor living, with the exception of the "bedrooms". 

There are 2 fully equipped bathhouses on the property that provide a community supply of shampoo, conditioner and soap. Each room has linens for each person. The bathhouses also have private and stall toilets, along with a dishwashing station. 

The venue will be providing a light breakfast - generally something along the lines of yogurt and granola along with coffee, tea and cocoa. 

We recommend packing in layers, as well as a generous amount of snacks, an outdoor blanket and camping chair. 

We are an inclusive community. We do not discriminate against race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity.

This is a luxury camping experience, however we will still be outdoors the entire retreat and are subject to natures weather conditions, bugs and critters.

We recommend this event for people 21+ due to conversations with mature content and optional alcohol consumption. 

This event is NON-REFUNDABLE! You may however transfer your space to another person. In the circumstance that the studio needs to cancel the event, a full refund will be issued within 10 days of cancellation.
