$100 per session; +$10 for machine rental per session

Advanced Beginner (should know how to operate sewing machine)

MATERIALS (not included)

  • Bring your own machine or rent one from us! If you bring your own, please also bring the manual
  • Thread
  • Session 1: 2 yds of either midweight linen, cotton, cotton blend, or lightweight denim
  • Session 2: 1.5 yds of either lightweight cotton, linen or cotton blend
  • Session 3: 2.5 yds of either midweight linen, cotton, cotton blend, denim or flannel

DETAILS

In this three-part series, you will learn to sew three wardrobe basics - skirt, top, and a pair of pants. All are easy-to-make and easy-to wear-garments you will want to make again and again. In each session you will learn about basic clothing construction while building your sewing skills with simple design elements like elastic waistbands, pockets, and bias binding.


Ages: 18+
Skill Requirements: basic sewing skills including knowing how to use a sewing machine
