DETAILS

Using ponderosa pine needles learn how to gather and prepare pine needles for basketry. You will get an overview of several coiling stitches to use in your pine needle baskets. By the end of the class, you will know how to stitch your pine needle baskets and the beginning of a mini trinket basket.

Approx size of the basket: 4" diameter and 3" tall.

This class is taught by basket weaver, Brittany Stanton who will guide you through each step of the process. You will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and receive personalized feedback and support throughout the class.

Ages: 15+
Skill Requirements: No previous experience necessary. It is helpful to have some hand strength and dexterity.
