LEVEL

Advanced beginner - should have experience making basic garments

MATERIALS (not included)

Please bring following materials:

• Sewing machine - bring your own or rent one from us! If you bring your own, please also bring the manual
• Size 12 needle
• Thread
• 1.5 yards in light- to mid-weight linen, cotton or cotton blend fabric, or a mix of similar fabrics for colorblocking. Please pre-wash and iron the fabric before the class.

*Materials included: Pattern drafting paper, bias tape

DETAILS

This two-session top class builds on the skills acquired in the Wardrobe Basics boxy top class. Students will draft a boxy top pattern and learn ways to customize their top with color blocks, gathers, cuffs, and split hem. Students will be able to apply skills from the previous class to their tops as well. By the end of this class, students will have a custom made top and a reusable top pattern.

Ages: 18+
